How Do I Get My Complimentary Insurance?

 

 

1. Fill out and email the form.  No personal information is required.  No social security numbers, no credit cards, I only need the booking number, your names and ages.

2. If you want to purchase the additional coverage, indicate on the form and an agent will call you personally.  Never send credit card information in an email!

3. That’s it!  Your policy, either the complimentary or the additional coverage policy will be emailed to you.  Print out 2 copies and you’re set.

Provides for the additional air transportation expenses incurred by the Insured to return you to the return destination if interrupted by supplier.

Reimburses you up to $100 a day for additional accommodations or travel expenses if you are delayed for more than 12 hours due to a covered reason.

Q. Does this policy pay me back for cancellation?
A. No.  Additional coverage for cancellations may be purchased however and added to your policy.  Click here to see additional coverage details.
Q. What happens if a family member not traveling becomes ill or passes away? Is this covered?
A. No.  Additional coverage may be purchased to cover this event however.
Q. What is the Pre-Existing condition waiver and how can I qualify?
A. If you are medically able to travel when you purchase your package. For Trip Cancellation or Trip Interruption coverage, which may be purchased separately, the pre-existing condition exclusion will be waived up to the first $15,000 of trip cost per person.
Q. Does everyone going on the trip need to purchase the insurance to be covered?
A. No.  One child age 17 and younger is covered at no additional cost for each insured adult. Each child must be related to the primary insured.  Only those listed as travelers in the original Apple package will be covered.
Q. How long do my bags need to be delayed before I will be covered for baggage delay?
A. 24 hours or more.
Q. I am 55 and my husband is 60, are we eligible?
A. Yes.
Q. When does the coverage begin?
A. All coverages will begin at 12:01 am local time at the location of the insured on the scheduled trip departure date shown on the policy
Q. How do I file a claim?
A. To file a claim, you can call  Travel Guard between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm Central Time and start the process with a Claims Analyst. The analyst will explain what needs to be provided to process your claim. The form will then be faxed or mailed to you to provide that information. 
Q. What if I want a refund?
A. Travel Guard is committed to providing products and services that will exceed expectations. If You are not completely satisfied, You can receive a refund provided 1) it is not past the original departure date; 2)  you have not submitted a claim; and 3) requests must be submitted to Travel Guard in writing within 15 days of the effective date of your coverage. If past 15 days, premium and service fees are non-refundable.

Q. What if I want Trip Cancellation coverage?

A.  Send an email to Luvtatravel and agents will call for your credit card information.  They will complete the forms necessary for the additional coverage and a new policy will then be sent to you via email.  Trip cancellation policies may also be purchased from Apple Vacations that includes a refund if trip prices go up.
